NORTH AMERICAN JUNIOR HAWKS POLICIES
RESPECT
Players are expected to demonstrate respect towards all team members, coaching staff, opponents and officials during practices, games, and events.
CONDUCT AND SPORTSMANSHIP
Players must conduct themselves with honesty, respect, and sportsmanship on and off the ice, promoting a positive image of the organization.
COMMUNICATION
Parents must inform the organization of any scheduling conflicts at least 48 hours in advance of an event to allow for proper planning.
ATTENDANCE
Players are required to attend all scheduled on-ice and off-ice sessions, including games, practices, and meetings, unless a prior excuse is granted by the organization.
DEVELOPMENT AND SUCCESS
North American Junior Hawks Organization commits to creating an enjoyable and supportive environment that encourages athletes to grow and succeed.The organization prioritizes skill development and mental training through structured programs including video analysis and educational prep sessions.
COACHING DECISIONS
All coaching decisions made will be respected by players and parents, recognizing the authority of coaches in managing the team.
PARENT CONDUCT
In accordance with the USA Hockey Zero Tolerance Policy, parents/guardians are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner at all times during team activities, including games, practices, and meetings. This includes but is not limited to:
- Refraining from verbal abuse or disrespect towards coaches, officials, players, or other parents
- Avoiding physical contact or intimidation towards others
- Not engaging in behavior that may be perceived as abusive or threatening
- Not using social media to harass or intimidate others related to hockey
- Supporting the team’s coaching staff and management in a positive manner
- Participating in discussions with coaches and staff in a respectful and constructive manner
- Encouraging their child(ren) to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner
Any behavior deemed unacceptable under this policy may result in disciplinary action up to and including exclusion from team events or activities. Any instances of unacceptable parent behavior should be reported promptly to the North American Junior Hawks management.
